There are a few ways to search for an area in TheGenie. One of these ways is by name. From your dashboard, select Area Name for your filter type.
After that, you can enter a name in the field below. Note the Area Types below that. Make sure you have the appropriate area type selected. For example, if you wanted to enter a zip code, you need to make sure you enact the "Zip Code" area type.
Once you enter the name of an area, a black drop down with a list containing the name you entered will show up. Select on from the drop down and hit View Area Detail to go into the deeper dive and to save the report.
