What to do if you can’t find a farm in Farm Genie
Sometimes you will search for a farm and no results will show.Please take the following steps to expand your search reach:
> If you’re searching by zip code…
Make sure the zip code you typed in is correct
Make sure all Area Types are selected
3. Some areas may have farms, but with low velocity (< 1%).Make sure to change the “Velocity % Min” filter to “0” just in case.
4. If no areas come up, you can search by address in the map drawing tool and create your own custom farm around that address

> If you are searching by farm name….
Make sure the name of the farm is spelled correctly and you MUST SELECT THE FARM FROM THE BLACK DROP DOWN MENU.If you try to type the full name of a farm in and not select from the black drop-down menu, the farm will not load.
2. Make sure you select all area types
3. If the area you are searching for is not pulling anything up on the drop-down menu, you can always draw a custom area or upload a list of APNs to create a custom area .If areas are showing up on the black drop-down but not your particular area , note that you can scroll through the drop-down if there are more than 7 results showing.
> If you are searching by Agent…
Make sure you have the correct agent loaded up in the scorecard
2. Make sure all area types are selected
3. If you still are not getting any results and you believe you should be, try adjusting the “Velocity % Min” filter to 0 in case they have presence in an area with very little turnover
4. At this point, if you do not see any farms show up but believe there should be, please email [email protected] and include the agent’s name and MLS ID in the parentheses next to their name
> If you are searching by address…
Make sure the address is spelled correctly AND you are selecting it from the drop-down menu.If you try to enter an address in without selecting it from the black drop-down menu, it will not work

3. If you still do not see any areas coming up, try adjusting the “Velocity % Min” filter to “0” in case the address is included in areas with little turnover rate
4. If no areas come up, you can search by address in the map drawing tool and create your own custom area around that address
